I just abandoned datek also. Switched out 2 accounts, due to lack of options trading, and just a general lack of ability to communicate with them. It also, sometimes, took 2 weeks for a checked mailed to them to show up in my account.

I switched to Freeman/Welwood, they probably aren't known all that well across he nation. A NW regional brokerage, they are doing a good job, I've had an account there for 15 years. When you call, the phone is answered by a broker, usually immediately.
