Globalstar in Russia globaltel.ru:8101/Russian/First.htm has been updated as of 20March. The English language pages are way out of date, but I discern some new material in the Russian pages. Someone fluent in Russian could really help us out, but I believe new material includes 1. Russian variants of press releases announcing start of service in Mexico and opening of Venezuela Gateway 2. Prices for equipment and airtime: 1500-1900 USD for mobile phones; 700-1000USD for car kits; 3000$ for fixed phones; 1.50-2$ per minute for air time... 3. Service said to start 2nd quarter from Moscow and Novisibersk GW; 3rd Q from Khabarovsk Globaltel is a JV of Globalstar and RosTelecom.
