This whole sell-off recently - IMHO - was triggered to give fund managers a lower entry point in some of their most desired stocks. Remember -- we're in tax season, and there is tons of money going into 401K plans that will have to find a home. The biotechs and tech stocks had gotten way overvalued, so no fund manager is going to buy at the top and then look bad at the end of the quarter when they have to report. Much better to buy after a correction -- like we just had. Then they look pretty smart. If you sold, you sold right into their plan. I predict we're going back to the old highs by the time all the retirement fund money is invested in a month or so.
