LU...I hate having conviction. Not really down much but I was positive yesterday! anyway...I was informed today by LU IR that nothing has changed for LU in their guidance for the quarter...therefore all reported rumors are just that...the typical pre-earnings crap...well almost 30 days to go. Lu is in their quiet period and can not directly respond other than saying, nothing has changed since the previous guidance....but they were aware of today's rumors and the comments on CNBC and don't know where they could get that nonsense. One fund liquidated a position today...big deal, I need to go find my link but last time I looked about 35 funds were buying shares and maybe 15 were doing some selling...damn traders!<g> I heard this rumor began on the trading floor....it happens every quarter...people will do anything to short a stock. I'm sorry I had to spend so much time w/ lucy today...but will continue to buy and now add call options... they are still planning on the scheduled spin-off in the 4th quarter, around Sept 15th but didn't have anything new to add on that subject at this time... Therefore, I expect someone,something to come to the companies defense tomorrow.
