Winston: Nokia has no license for selling CDMA infrastructure so it sells none now.

If Nokia obtains a license, it might.

Nokia does have a license for handsets, terminals or phones (take your pick of terminology) so it sells them.

But the problem is that Nokia sells pitifully few and the future prospects seem relatively dim for further CDMA phone sale expansion with the need for data incorporated coming on rapidly, unless Nokia obtains a license for that or buys Qualcomm's ASICS, i.e. for the Q's 1XRTT and/or HDR technologies.

Not a rosy picture within CDMA.

GSM will be a great market for some years.

And Nokia seems well managed and designs fine popular phones.

The question still is, why not use some widgets from Qualcomm within Nokia's phones and expand Nokia's market.

Best.
