TP:

Bland's heart is in no danger. He has already seen both ends of the spectrum. He well understands the potential trade-offs.
Bland is normally always "game" when it comes to learning something new. He is willing to pay the price of tuition, be it missed opportunity costs or whatever. Already it is clear bland would have greatly benefited simply by waiting another day to sell his calls on both RFMD and NTAP.
But bland will be bland. He is perfectly willing to eschew the perfection he has grown so accustomed to in all other areas of his life <s> in the interests of simply making an almost certain buck here. He is confident he has done that, and he is satisfied.
For bland is not simply studying Voltaire's technique, but Voltaire's philosophy.
