A perfect example here. Intel always priced their products above the predatory pricing levels set by AMD, let who gets blamed for a price war? Today AMD wages a price war with much lower pricing but you would never admit it. You feel much more comfortable rooting for someone you can relate to

First of all the author of this article is M. Kanellos from CNET who if he has a bias, its an Intel one.

Secondly if you use the term 'scorched earth pricing policy', typically that means prices that take no prisoners and that Intel was undercutting AMD. However you are saying the opposite so I can only assume that the prices that Intel publicly posted at the time were not the real prices that were being charged.

Do you think that may be a possibility?
