"NT is not driving the internet. 80% or so of the traffic on the internet runs through CSCO routers, not NT routers"

Yes SIR Mr. Malloy! I understand SIR Mr. Malloy!

Just like lot of the voice traffic EVENTUALLY runs through the Mitel, NEC, TIE, Telrad, Nitsuko PBX's........so should these PBX companies claim that "80% of the voice traffic runs through THEIR TECHNOLOGY?" and IF SO, what does that statement mean? I would call that putting a statement out of it's context which CSCO is very good at doing.

Look Malloy, Routers = PBX = On Premise BOX. This is NOT what makes up the real network. Real network is still controlled by the PTT/Carriers who get their REAL network infrastructure built by REAL network buildout vendors like LU and NT.

When you have super capacity through Optics, eventually EVERY device will be part of the network and guess who controls the network? Not CSCO. Either CSCO will win a big chunk of the network or their stock price will come crashing down. Now I am not saying they will fail abysmally in their attempt to crack the network market but chances are not great for their success and please don't look at the past to predict the future -- especially in the technology business.
