Good Morning Clapie:

I too am enamored by tech. There was something I saw in one of the journals that was developed by Kodak and Samsung (or was in Sanyo?) which is a flat panel color screen what uses an organic substrate that exhibits electoluminesence. The advantage of this medium as opossed to TFT panels is that it doesn't require back lighting thereby saving on battery life. If I come across it again, I;ll try to find the name of this product. The illustration shows a flat panel with a bright color image.

Just thought I would add this tidbit.

David
