<Suppose a person sold 1 share of INTC at $76 in December, and invested it in AMD. Their $76 would now be worth about $300. That is about twice as much value as they would have had if they had of kept their money in INTC.

Don't you wish you had put your entire portfolio in AMD?>

I sold all my Intel in spring 99 for $59 and started accumulating heavily in AMD by buying shares and selling in the money puts. Got assigned a whole bunch in October at $17.5. By November my margin was approaching 40%.

As of yesterday my margin is down to about 10% and I lowered my basis in AMD to very low teens by selling deep in the money puts every month. The value of my total (all AMD) is up 6x from that day that I liquidated Intel.

Send my best BAM, BAM, jajajaja, to Paul "Athwipe" Engel
