Telos Corporation Announces Promotion of John B. Wood to Executive Chairman; David S. Aldrich to President and CEO

ASHBURN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 22, 2000--Telos Corporation today announced the promotion of John B. Wood to Executive Chairman from President and CEO.

The Company also announced the promotion of David S. Aldrich to President and Chief Executive Officer from Chief Operating Officer. Both promotions were approved by the Telos Board of Directors and are effective immediately.

Mr. Wood's promotion provides for his continuing role in setting and guiding the strategic direction of Telos, while enabling him to focus his energies on running Enterworks as CEO and Chairman. Enterworks recently filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

"Enterworks is an important proof point for Telos as Telos continues to develop and capitalize businesses that specialize in building organizations which deliver on the promise of eBusiness. In these fast-changing marketplaces, capital and focus are strategic weapons that will separate the winners and the losers. We have made extraordinary progress in strengthening this position over the last couple of years with our employees, customers and partners," said Mr. Wood. "Promoting Dave to President and CEO for Telos is a natural progression of our business model and one that is embraced by all who know and work with Dave, especially me."

Mr. Aldrich has worked with Mr. Wood since 1996 in developing Telos' strategy and realigning the businesses to more effectively compete in today's technology-driven economy. "Our common vision is to build an agile and forward thinking organization which creates shareholder value by focusing on customer satisfaction and operational results," said Mr. Aldrich. "I look forward to implementing our plan."

Telos specializes in building information technology companies which leverage the Internet and enable Business-to-Business and Business-to-Government eMarketplaces. Outside of its traditional businesses, Telos has also developed Xacta, SecureTrade and Enterworks.
