Jim,
I was one of the Chicken Littles, and I really resented Cheeky Kid's pooh-poohing of our concerns. But Ol/49'r had a change of heart toward November last, and caused me to rethink. Peter deJager's change of thought started to make sense, then, too.

As I have said before, my 110 gallons of approximately $1.17
gasoline is about to flow back into my tanks. That gives me a chuckle.
Call options on tech put on in late December have been incredible. I have 100 contracts on the XAU which are waiting for something momentous to occur in the gold market before June. The stored food has kept our food budget low, and the only Y2K problem actually occurred in my business. My reason for dreading this thing was well founded, it just never occurred to me that I might be the only one so affected! lol

It is a great relief to us all, that nothing worse happened.
Being really wrong, however, has always been deeply difficult for me to accept.

Bill
