Hi Tan,

The last time you Posted in this thread was last October when you said to Brian: --- "Naw....we're just waiting for it to hit $100 as per Tito's prediction.... :)... I'm glad you're still going strong invested in AMAT.

Sorry Tan, I don't know much about investing with Tax considerations in mind. What I do is to strive to better my investment strategy so as to earn more for Taxes.

But if I were you, I'd keep the Options for a while. You see if I exercise the Jan '01 70 now, I'm going to forfeit or loss the 9 dollar per share Time Premium left. Since I believe AMAT is going to be higher in Summer/Fall and going to be still higher in Summer/Fall next year, here's what I'll do: --- I'm going to to sell the Option in Summer/Fall when I think the stock reaches its highest for the year... then wait for the stock to correct... then when I think the stock is ready to go up again --- RollOver the investment to another Option that expires 1 to 2 years later... Of course I can RollOver the option anytime, whether the stock is up or down, and still come out ahead as long as the stock goes up more and more in the future.

... and the future of AMAT is bright --- for how many years, we can only speculate...
