Note how Q is offering up press releases that have few words, but speak volumes. They can only repeat it so often--licensees for 3G will pay the same royalty rate regardless of standard. Hitachi joins a growing number who are paying QCOM a license fee and agreeing to royalties for all flavors of 3G. I ramble on because there is a whole slew of "investors" out there who still think that the slick folks at Nokia, or Motorola, or even that fortress of technology, IDC, are doing some kind of end run around QCOM patents with W-CDMA. The rest of the world appears to disagree.
