If you think the market does not eventually reward increases in market share, sales, EPS, then you should sell FFIV. Momentum is an essential ingredient of this market and is quite fickle. Yes, the shorts are testing how low they can push FFIV. The shorts are the most short term oriented and they will abandon ship quite quickly once they discover a limit to their endeavor. I know because I'm a shortseller- though I'm long FFIV. The momentum players are looking for a firm bottom in here before they come back in.
