Economic News for Thursday, March 23, 2000 Weekly Jobless Claims = +4k to 266k dol.gov In the week ending March 18, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 266,000, an increase of 4,000 from the previous week's unrevised figure of 262,000. The 4-week moving average was 271,000, a decrease of 750 from the previous week's unrevised average of 271,750.
