chuca:

heard from dale yesterday re: jeru's questions...here are his replies....

jeru:

heard back from the company yesterday....

1.>...COC money has been allocated to complete the one COC program of
drilling by reverse circulation. Completion has been targeted for a date
prior to the Maxam AGM of 4-28-00. The bulk test COC is in its 3rd phase
which is expected to be the final phase and they are pushing for
completion prior to the AGM

2.>...Maxam is still using Hewlett as their prime in-house consultant. If any
reports need to be published that require a registered geologist they will
address that at that time.

3.>...The dividends will be distributed with the official notice of the
AGM...target date of 1st week in April.

4.>...The assumption to this question is not correct. The independant labs
that we have used and use are listed on our web site.

5.>...Maxam was delisted because adequate funds were not available soon
enough to pay auditors and legal. Funds are now available and the
auditors and legal are working to prepare the necessary paper work for
filing.

6.>...No shares of Maxam have been sold in recent years by any Directors
or affiliates.

7.>...The proposed "merger" was not completed because it did not meet
the Maxam Board's criteria for an acquisition.

8.>...No comment at this time.

9.>...Maxam has never promised a mine would be in production on any
specific date. Any forecast is always based on assumptions that certain
things will be accomplished. Read the "Safe Harbor Statement".

10.>...The estimated cost of preparation for filing is $100,000.00 (one
hundred thousand dollars).

11.>...The filing will occur when the auditors and legal finish the paper
work.
