Trojan Technologies Launches Innovative Product Line In California :
Advances in Disinfection for Drinking Water Announced

LONDON, ONTARIO, CANADA--Trojan Technologies Inc. (TSE/TUV) today launched the TrojanUVMax(tm)
drinking water product line at the Water Quality Association Show in Long Beach, California taking place March 23rd -
25th. This new line of five innovative high-performance residential and commercial water disinfection systems uses leading
edge UV technology to kill viruses, bacteria and pathogens found in contaminated drinking water faster and more
effectively than any other system today. Applications for TrojanUVMax(tm) include residential and commercial markets
such as rural homes, cottages, hospitals, restaurants and nursing homes.
"In North America alone, over 18 million households rely on private wells for water supplies. According to a recent study
released by the Water Quality Association, 72% of consumers are concerned about their drinking water quality." said
Hank Vander Laan, President and CEO of Trojan Technologies. "Add to this the wide variety of institutional applications,
plus demand from Europe, and we believe a significant market opportunity, estimated to be worth over C$300 million, has
been identified by Trojan."
Technological advances incorporated in TrojanUVMax(tm) enable customers to treat a given volume of water with a
smaller, more efficient unit with increased safety features. Advanced computer modeling was used to design an
ultra-efficient water chamber that ensures disinfection. Other unique features of the TrojanUVMax(tm) product line include
high-output UV lamps, a new UV intensity monitoring device and new power supply technology which enables the system
to withstand fluctuations in voltages occurring in global markets. The new product line is also capable of meeting strict
international disinfection requirements such as those in the United States, Austria and Germany.
