While you and your butt-slapping pals are ridiculing this story, perhaps you can tell me why Sanders is projecting only 13 million Athlons for this year. Even if Sanders is sandbagging, don't you think Intel will be shipping more Coppermines this quarter alone?

And yet there seems to be ample supply of Athlons out there going for real cheap, even though the volumes are definitely much lower than Coppermines. Perhaps AMD has it all wrong, trying to target a retail market that is more interested in 500 MHz Celerons than 800 MHz Athlons. What can you expect from a company that has yet to penetrate the high-volume business markets?

Funny, I didn't see Jim telling everyone that he bought AMD at the same time that he sold INTC. Maybe he should have bought "RAMBUST" instead, which is now up over 300%. <VBG>
