Eric, nice response.

The points about SAN and NAS being complementary are valid, imo. But the fact is that EMC and NTAP are competitors and will be increasingly so as time goes by.

The point about EMC being a Gorilla because of software is also thought provoking. I am not sure it is valid, but it is just as applicable to NTAP.
