I think nowadays maybe you get a prescription for prozac or perhaps a really strong anti-psychotic drug if you think you're the son of God. Creativity and madness seem to be so closely intertwined in some cases- do you know much about T. Dreiser (An American Tragedy, Sister Carrie, The Genius, etc...) I am sure today the man would have been in several support groups as well as being medicated- but would he still have written?
