Yeah, it's clear you don't care about these things and are deaf to both the problems and the possibilities, but a lot of people do care and are not insensate about these things and do realize at some level their importance. You and those with similar attitudes and sensibilities and preferences are not the only ones who vote. That's what makes a democracy. I guess it comes down to whether more Americans, over time, will come to think as you do or think as I do. Time will tell. If the former is the case, I think, in all honesty, we'll live in an impoverished world, no matter how many cars and vcrs and swimming pools we have. Good luck.
