I have to agree there's no way this stock has fully priced in a settlement. There's still a big risk of a disappointment and an adverse ruling from the judge. If the case is settled without a breakup the stock gains 20 points the next day. The previous run to 120 was only on hopes of a settlement (and earnings expectations). Now the earnings are certain but the settlement isn't. For comparison twin sister INTC with the same underlying business drivers has doubled over the past 4 months, while MSFT is up about 10-15%. Shows the enormous pressure the stock's been under from worry-worts such as myself.
