Copeland, what a bullish report on CNBC tonight. Some highlights:
- Insana called the company a wireless wonder.
- World's #3 cell phone maker, behind Nokia and Motorola.
- 11% market share.
- Sold 6 million phones last year, project to sell more than 10 million units this year.
- Make phones for Bell Atlantic, Air Touch, MCI ...
- 88% growth in phone sales, 50% growth overall.
- More than $1 billion in annual sales.
- 15% international sales, growing to 50% by 2003.
- 5 analysts covering the company, all 5 strong buys.
You can't ask for a more bullish report. I bought today in the low 42s, thinking it's a 1-day play, I'm having second thought. With wireles phone usage growing exponentially, this company stands to grow and benefit enormously. The company is currently valued at less than 1 times sales, as WS catches up on the story, I can see it goes for 5 times sales. This is definitely a great long term hold.
