For anyone who understands WCDMA and CDMA2000 would know this is completly untrue:
"Anyone who knows anything about wireless understands the
difference between CDMA2000 and W-CDMA. Q's patent claims
are not nearly as strong for W-CDMA as for CDMA2000(1X,3X and
HDR). And guess what - Ericsson and Nokia have significant IP in
the W-CDMA standard."
Not only has Q MGMT stated this quite Clearly, Ericy has a signed contract that upholds it. This discredits anythg this guy has to say. The fact that he thinks TERO is anything more then a NOK pimp is fooling themselves. Tero is a one trick pony, and has failed to see ERICY, MOT's or QCOM's metemorphesis. He is now failing to see Samsung, KYO, and ASians. Frankly if I had to choose between an ASIAN or European electronic manufacturer I would be on the next flight to Tokyo. They know how to make things fast and cheap. As far as GSM IPR, I am sure Q is negotiating with PHG as we speak(or Siemens)
