It's hard to believe that this whole mess with Corel isn't a really bad dream. There are two news articles today. One about each company. The headline for Inprise is: "Inprise/Borland Opens Public Field Test of Interbase 6.0 for Linux, Windows, and Solaris." For Corel the headline is: "Corel CEO Insider Trading Trial Moves to Ottawa." Can anyone state more elegantly why this acquisition is such a bad idea for Inprise?
