Quest Diagnostics Invests in Qmed, Inc.
LAURENCE HARBOR, N.J., March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Qmed, Inc., (Nasdaq: QEKG - news) announced today that Quest Diagnostics Incorporated (NYSE: DGX - news), the nation's leading provider of clinical testing, information and services, has invested $2,000,000 in the common stock of the Company. Through the transaction, Quest Diagnostics has acquired approximately 2% of the outstanding stock of Qmed.
