WHY MSFT WILL SCREAM The settlement terms as appearing in the WSJ are, 'MSFT will no longer be able to give lower pricing to some makers'. Good, more profits, as in "Yes I know we gave it to you at $ 20 before, but now it's $ 30...Government laws and stuff". Oh boy! More money for the shareholders. Next is "open up some Windows calls to all developers and ...may be even source". GOOD BYE LINUX. I'll take those terms without the government even at the door knocking. It just goes to show you how stupid the government really is!!!
