I am gradually clearing out our basement. A year's accumulation of milk and plastic soda bottles are going outside to water the gardens, and we are beginning to be able to walk around again. I guess the washing machine would use it up faster. I had installed a 125 gallon plastic tank with a connection to collect rainwater from my roof, so the tapwater definitely has to go. A little fertilizer in the water bottles,and my plants, fruit trees, crops are as happy as I am. Daffodil, I am pleased that all turned out equally positively for you as well. Bill
