GoTo.com Names Kasey Byrne Chief Communications Officer PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 24, 2000--Search engine GoTo.com (NASDAQ: GOTO - news), the company that revolutionizes how people and businesses search for products, services and information on the Internet, announced today that Kasey Byrne was recently promoted to Chief Communications Officer. She had served as Vice President of Investor Relations since joining the company in 1999. In her new capacity, Ms. Byrne will be responsible for all corporate communications, including both Investor Relations and Public Relations. Before joining GoTo.com, Ms. Byrne was Senior Vice President, Product Management & Planning with SunAmerica in Los Angeles, and spent six years as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. Prior to that, she was a Software Engineer with Digital Equipment Corporation and Hewlett Packard. Ms. Byrne holds an M.S. in Management from MIT's Sloan School of Management and a B.S. in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering with Distinction from Cornell University.
