Sega: "We'll discuss with Hitachi" ``We'll discuss (the matter) with Hitachi,' said Munehiro Umemura, a Sega spokesman. quote.bloomberg.com Since both the stock of Sega and Hitachi took a hit yesterday due to the Rambus news, this really does create some sense of urgency for Hitachi to settle. As I said yesterday, Sega will be putting the pressure on Hitachi to settle. Keep in mind, that Sega may only be the first company that Rambus has identified. If Hitachi does not settle soon, Rambus could go after other Hitachi clients. I am sure other Hitachi clients are feeling threatened now and probably talking with Hitachi at this moment. If these other clients are identified, their stocks will take big hits as well. This definitely has major ramifications throughout the industry.
