My point exactly.

The fact that you do not care about states rights is why all our rights will continue to erode to the Federal Government. I've lived in different states too, but the one I'm living in now directly affects my life. I assume your living in one of the 50 states now, right? So why don't you care what goes on in your community? Why should the Federal Goverment control anything about your local community?

Simply because you move from state to state doesn't mean the goverment should control the taxes, roads, schools, etc. The federal government collects taxes and redistributes those funds to the same communities for roads and schools. Why? All the collecting, studying and distributing takes a big portion of these funds. These taxes should stay in the local communities.

I'm not suggesting that if I live in New York I should consider New York above all else, and whatever happens in California is of no concern. We are all americans and should support each other. I doubt states would turn on each other simply because they have control of their own communities.

Well, I tried. I guess I'm the only one that cares to understand states rights.
