I am long Tyco, but IPO of a sub will not provide cash to Tyco, unless they also offer some of their shares through a secondary distribution; and Most holding companies trade at a significant discount to the intrinsic value of their holdings. Just trying to damper the euphoria, but not extinguish it. Market is finally seeing what a great company Tyco is.
