$21.9 Billion Inflow To Equities The Week Ended Wed. March 22, 2000

TrimTabs.com Director of Research Carl Wittnebert estimates that all equity funds had inflows of $21.9 billion over the five day week ended Wednesday, March 22, 2000, vs. inflows of $4.4 billion during the prior week.

Equity funds that invest primarily in US had inflows of $18.5 billion, compared with inflows of $3.6 billion during the prior period.

International equity funds had inflows of $3.4 billion vs. inflows of $900 million the week before.

Bond funds had outflows of $3.0 billion vs. outflows of $2.1 billion the prior week.

Hybrid funds had outflows of $500 million, same as the week before.

Mutual Fund Trim Tabs daily tracks flows of 91 fund families that have about 20% of all equity fund assets. MFTT then regresses those numbers by sector to estimate total flows for all equity funds.
