Question

All opinions welcome...

I currently have a bunch of calls written on elon, cmgi, qcom, jdsu, qcom.

I am not concerned about the cmgi getting called as I have plenty of other shares I left uncovered. The ELON - well, I have 85's and 100's written. I'd like to keep some shares, so hopefully the 100's will be ok and not get called.

My dilema is really with qcom and jdsu.

QCOM, I have 130's and 170's

JDSU, I have 140's and 150's.

I would rather not lose any. With expiration still a good while away, what would be the best strategy. Do I bite the bullet, lose some money, and buy the calls back now, or do I let some time go by and hope to gain something in the form of eroded time premium. It's a long month...I mean hell.....those 2 could run up severely, only to come back down by the time expiration nears. On the flip side, they both could run, and run big, and then I would be forced to lose the shares at a far lower price, or buy the calls back for a helluva lot more then what I paid.

Knowing I have the april qcom 130's and 170's and the april jdsu 140's and 150's, I am curious to hear what some of you "smarter then I" ( which encompasses about 99.999% of this board <ggg>)folks would do.

Not sure who I posted this to, but am interested in all opinions...especially, tom, jim and the rest of you option hounds.

Thanks...have a great weekend

Keith
