Well, there IS a glow. THere really is, you were right about that. ANd I have no idea if it's physiologically caused or not--- I was guessing that it is. Or it also might be just joy in being pregnant! When one considers the act of creation, it is awesome. I look sometimes at my boys and find it hard to believe that these complete and perfect creatures came from me, from a single cell, that I somehow provided an environment that allowed this to happen. I feel the same awe when I watch anything being born. It is not a gift to be treated cavalierly. And terminating a pregnancy is not a decision that should be made, as you say, as if you were pulling off a tick. The entire bone structure changes with pregnancy. It's amazing. The diaphragm expands, the pelvis shifts. It is ALL wonderful. I just felt that implying this was a natural and wonderful condition as if pregnancy were an opportunity we should thank a man for providing was a bit much. (the other guy, not you) Of course, turning women into madonnas and romanticizing the whole thing is going too far the other way.
