As the article itself states, the ruling if implemented would have no affect on revenues, just the timing. Now, upon shipment, most companies invoice for 90% with the final 10% due upon customer acceptance. This generally occurs 3-8 months later, upon installation ( 1-3 months), startup, and acceptance( 1-3 months).
