I don't know if you recall this old post from October, but ASA is now reporting
the discount to NAV on their website. asaltd.com

I disagreed with their calculation method.

If the net asset value was $24 and the price was $20, the dollar discount is $4.

I maintained that the discount was to NAV, $4/$24 = 16.7%
ASA Limited, however, was reporting it as $4/$20 = 20.0%

They are now seem to be reporting it correctly, as opposed to overstating the discount.
