Thanks for the advise. Although I've watched some of my long positions cut in half without coming close to panicking somehow controlling my emotions when shorting a stock is much harder. The few times I've tried it I've been right on the stocks but have been scared out of my positions for small losses. I keep coming back to the possibility of shorting because the logic of having a few shorts in my portfolio makes sense to me. Especially when I come across a stock like GUMM that seems cry out for it. In the end though I may just watch this one for the educational value. Good Luck.
