I have a problem getting rid of Worldspy.net from my computer. I'm starting to think I'll need to shoot it with a kryptonite bullet to get rid of it.

I downloaded it once and got error messages while trying to install, so I decided just to uninstall, but when I tried to uninstall I got a message saying uninstall would not continue.

Then, I downloaded Worldspy a second time and it again it wouldn't work and gave me an error message. When I tried to uninstall it, I got this message:

Uninstall Shield has detected the c:\Program Files\WorldSpy.net\WorldSpy.net\vivilink.exe is in use. Please close the application using the file and launch Uninstall Shield again

Any suggestions on how to kill the beast and get it uninstalled? Worldspy hasn't responded to my inquiry.

BTW, I've used the following free ISPs and give them the following ratings:

NetZero *** (**** until it screwed up a week ago and I had to re-download it)

AltaVista * - *** depending on time of day

freecomputer.com **** (the best so far-- small banner ad)
