DRAM's
I see Jono is now pushing RAMBUS. <g>

The price premium for Rambus RIMM's is increasing rapidly.
A check on PriceWatch show's an abundance of 64MB DIMM's with >300 entry's for PC100/PC133 DIMM's at prices as low as $22.00. Most are printing red, indicating price reductions. Too many to check the mean price, but $50.00 for PC133, (lower for PC100), is a WAG.
Found 18 entry's for 64MB RIMM's with a mean price of $375.00.
Similar situation with 128MB modules. Hundreds of DIMM entry's with many under $100.00 vs RIMM's at ~$750.00
So it appears the price premium for RIMM's is about 7.5X DIMM's, at least in the spot market.
I found it interesting that DELL is discounting prices on RAMBUS systems. Does anyone think this is a sign of consumer acceptance? <g>
