I don't think they can break off the browser and sell it separately as you suggested. They have been giving it away free and their actions forced NSCP to stop selling their browser several years ago. Browsers are a free commodity. More likely, IMO, the browser will be combined with MSN and other internet assets, possible spun off as a tracking stock. hmmm, that's an interesting idea. Don't forget, lost in all this settlement talk, is that MSFT has a HUGE portfolio of investments in other companies, many of them being the most exciting in their fields. This settlement may likely be the catalyst to unleash the value of MSFT's holdings. jmho. larry
