Jim, re: Fortunately, the average customer knows only Mhz (Mhz Sells TM McMannis)...so the segmentation thing works. Different customer base Jim. Consumers who buy AMD chips know about overclocking! Just looking at the price difference & my estimate of the performance difference, there's no real segmentation here. Seems like a rushed strategy since Intel is cleaning AMD's clock in the retail "sweet spot": 500-700. Hmmmm, AMD's ASPs might be heading south for Spring. <g> joey
