real shares were bought, on balance, and that
demand drove the price (only up a little, after all).
Just for a random example, Dana Corp (DCN) notice volume
increase to double the previous level. I have a trial
balloon theory for, "why now" which lies in the
cash buyout of Cordant Technologies for $57/share which
was trading in the $27-$32 range.
