Glenn, I just put in a Athm cable modem service last week. Other than downloads I'm not impressed. When they have the technology to use the cable modem for uploading capability, then maybe I'll like it. Right now I can only upload data at the speed of the phone connection. DSL was my first choice because I have it here in Seattle, but unfortunately its not available yet in my area down in San Diego. ps It's cheap though.
