<<the only miniscule fine was levied against UP for $25,000.>>

According to David Russell of Ultra Petroleum, the $25,000 was NOT a fine but rather a "settlement" to Alan from when he was a consultant to Ultra.

I know that there are some really bad feelings by some of you on this thread toward Ultra and GNI. For my own part I had a lot of AOW stock that decreased greatly in value with the reverse split. I can only say that I hope with the excellent prospects for natural gas and the new seismic maps available on the Anticline that both Ultra and GNI will have new "birth" as successful gas companies this drilling season. Good luck to all of us!
