Peter, i was talking about musicians that do it for a living. I play the piano and enjoy it a lot, but i assure you that i will never make a dime from it:) Unless some one paid me not to play. But, i am all for saving trees and resources, but it will only happen if there is a way that all parties are paid for every copy sold. There is some stuff out on the net that we can download now for free, though its not really what we want to hear, that is why it is free. Music is big business and big business takes a lot of players, producers, marketing, touring etc. Especially marketing, and with all the choices available on the Internet, marketing will be just as important as it became when TV first arrived. I will be happy when we can download our music, but i think it will end up being via the record producers, not MP3 like companies. I mean, its these producers that create many of the artists that we enjoy, or at least pull it all together. Now I have to get back to finishing my MP3 server:)
