with the judge openly and blatantly anti-msft there is NO pressure on the govt to settle. sad that a single (and in this case ignorant) judge can hold so much sway over american business. i have a minimal understanding of the legal process---can msft push this to the supreme court where odds are a group of judges are apt to make a better decision? i recognize there is a cost to msft for dragging this out but i don't see judge jackson & the govt agreeing to a reasonable msft settlement offer
