Baron's is not worth using as toilet paper as far as I'm concerned! I stopped taking Bear-uns seriously about 5 or 6 years back when they ran a splashy cover story on why the market at Dow 4,000 was perilously overvalued and about to dive off a cliff. Some cliff. Even if you are concerned about cash burn, CMGI is probably the most attractive Net investment out there. It has surging revenues, Wetherall has been earning a reputation as a magician, and most importantly IMO, the troubles of other companies without the backing of the CMGI affiliation will start inuring to CMGI's benefit very soon. This last factor is the most important one for me. When there is a shakeout, the survivors end up in better shape than ever. And there is a shakeout coming in many of the business segments that CMGI has properties in. I am a little concerned about my April calls. But the long term shares, which are the bulk of my CMGI investment, are not something I lose any sleep over. They still look like a four bagger in the next 24-36 months from where I sit. MAD DOG
