Gary, I agree that Meade's PR had not much in the way of hype in it. They were probably even shocked at the extent of the reaction of the stock price and cursing themselves for being in a quiet period. :-)

What is your take on Dan Richman's Seattle Post-Intelligencer article from yesterday? From the figures he dug up, Meade will supply the optical fraction of the $150 heart of the device. Terabeam at least has a recurring revenue model but Meade is simply a supplier of the optical components. They don't even do final the assembly.

Using his figures, a fully loaded Terabeam cell might bring Terabeam $1,812,000 per year. Meade's one-time take on the optics for that cell would be less than $7,000.
